How should I maintain curl definition and prevent matting?

We recommend refreshing your So Coily extensions at least once every 4 days. Start by cleansing with a moisturizing shampoo, followed by a rich hair conditioner/hair mask. Rinse thoroughly. To define your curls, always begin with soaking wet strands for even product distribution. Beginning from the nape, grab horizontal sections, then gently detangle with a curly-hair brush. Next, apply a thin layer of hair oil to seal in moisture, followed by your favorite curling cream or hair gel for juicy curl definition. Repeat this process from bottom to top. For best results, grab thin horizontal sections and use low heat with a diffuser blow dryer.

How does this texture react to heat styling and revert back?

Aasha's Hair So Coily texture can be heat-styled up to 450°F. While it can be blow-dried or flat-ironed and revert back to it's original curl pattern, excessive heat use may loosen the curl pattern over time.
